Repeat exercise #4, but do it while also imagining the feeling of the material that makes up the object. You must do both of these at the exact same time. You must not forget to visualize(visually) while you are doing tactile visualization, and vice versa. Forgetting to do both is to be considered a break in mental focus.
Preliminary Exercise #4: Focus on the Visualization of an Object
Choose the same object from the previous exercise. Find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed. Close your eyes and visualize the object for a period of 20 seconds with less than 2 breaks in focus. For this exercise, a break in focus is defined as:
Preliminary Exercise #3: Focus on a Specific Aspect of an Object
Choose a small object at random. Preferably, it is one that is small enough to hold in your hand. Choose one aspect about this object which you are going to focus on. If the object you chose is a soda can, an example of something to focus on is the material of the soda can.
Preliminary Exercise #2: Be Mindful of Your Mental State
Find a quiet room where you will not be disturbed. Sit in a comfortable position with your eyes closed. Spend 5 minutes observing your thoughts. The goal here is to just try not to lose track of the thoughts you are having. You want to be mindful of your thoughts the whole time. A break in focus is when you lose track of your thoughts.
Psionics research usually falls under the branch termed “Parapsychology”. Most of the research on psionics is done by the following universities and organizations:

Concept #3: What we understand about psionics we understand through observations. Therefore, it is useful for you to maintain a journal so that you can use your observations to further your own personal study in Psionics.
When practicing psionics, it is very useful(almost necessary) to have a journal to refer back to. You should record things in your journal daily, regardless of whether you practiced or not. At the very least, this is what should be included in your journal:
One of the most important concepts in psionics is the idea of causing change. When we practice telekinesis, we wish to cause change to the environment by moving an object (such as a pencil or highlighter), in our real, physical reality. To do this, we need to have a will to make the highlighter move using our mind. This is one of the major factors that separates imagining a highlighter moving with telekinesis, from actually moving a highlighter using telekinesis.
