Relax

This is important enough to deserve its own section. Really, relax, chill out. Anger and frustration can hurt your progress by breaking your focus and instilling doubt. You don’t have to give up focus, there’s a difference between being focused/motivated and frustrated, the first one is good, the other not so much.

 

Exercise:

1. Right before practice take time to sit down in a comfortable chair. Make sure there are no distractions.

2. Think about your day and all of the things which are distracting you , and just let them go.  Count down from 10, seeing yourself slowly become more relaxed with each passing number.

3. Practice like you would normally.

 

You should work on this method for at least 2 days before proceeding.
